Workshops for everyone
SCAT offers a wide range of Participatory Workshops in schools and community venues; and all draw upon our extensive experience in producing shows:-
e.g.
- Drama Workshops are derived from our experience in creating original storylines for SCAT shows.
- Making Workshops develop from our experience in mask-making, puppet-making, and creating props and scenery for SCAT shows.
- Performance Skills Workshops draw on our skills and knowledge as actors and puppeteers.
Features of SCAT Workshops
- All Workshops are led by SCAT’s co-directors, Gerry (Geraldene) Owen and Paul Hayles.
- For Making Workshops we provide all materials and equipment – our only requirement being work-tables for the children (and for our materials).
- Making Workshops are non-messy – children achieve wonderful, colourful results without paint or glue-pots!
